Academic Tutoring, Test Preparation, and Educational Resources
What Does Not Belong? is our first iPhone application! It was developed by educators to help young children with vocabulary and classification skills. The student is presented with five pictures. One doesn't belong with the others, based on category, size, color, quanitity, or some other attribute. The picture that does not belong must be picked up and put into a trash can on the lower left hand corner of the screen. There are ten levels of ten questions each, and they loosely increase in difficulty. The first ten questions are free, and if you like them, you can buy 90 more for $1.99.
The app is great for ERB, OLSAT, or Stanford-Binet prep. Speech and language pathologists also love to use the app to build verbal reasoning skills. It's also, well, just fun!!!
